Jonathan Penuel
BFA ’21 Animation/Interactive Design
My name is Jonathan Penuel; I’m a graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Animation/Interactive Design. My primary goal in the industry is to work as an animator/rigger for 3D characters in video games. As a Rigger, I strive to create detailed and functional rigs for character meshes in 3D animations. My work allows a character mesh to move and operate by being moved and positioned through the creation of animators. I spend most of my work researching a character or creature’s anatomy to understand where its bones would be and how to place them within the mesh. My end goal is to come out with a mesh that has been rigged perfectly and operates with little to no issues. As a rigger, I find it most enjoyable to be a part of something that makes a character function and help it become the character fans admire through their movements
