ECU Tuscany

ECU Tuscany is a unique study abroad experience located in the heart of Tuscany, birthplace of the Renaissance and one of the most beautiful and culturally rich areas of the world. ECU students, and visiting students from other universities (for the same price), travel on fall and spring semester programs, or during three different summer sessions.

Glass in Poland

Studying glass in Krosno, Poland, offers you the unique experience to learn about glass-making in the glass center of Poland.  Factory and hand-made glass has played a vital role in the local culture of Krosno, Poland and you will get the opportunity to learn its history and get hands on experience with master glass workers.  In addition to learning about glass-making, you will get to experience the rich history and culture that Poland has to offer.  The program is offered during the summer every other year.

Art and Design in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)

The United Arab Emirates Field Studies in Art and Design has been offered as a two-week interdisciplinary educational trip to the United Arab Emirates. This experience engages students in activities at partner institutions, museums, galleries, and sites in the UAE. Cities explored include Sharjah, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi as well as additional site visits to Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, and Ras Al Khaimah. To complement in-country experience, the SoAD has offered a studio course that includes web-based lectures from artists in the Middle East. This course culminates in a studio portfolio that considers the cultures of East and West.
