Camille Glover

BFA ’20 Illustration, Printmaking

I am an Illustrator based in Greenville. My work consists of brightly colored or themed pieces that have to do with my heritage as an African American woman. I have created pieces that relate to my culture. I also take interest in creating things related to other cultures in my artistic style.
My work deals with incorporating a narrative or story into my work to help create a unified picture along with the visual elements I have included in the picture. I want to continue to progress and be able to convey how I capture things through an artistic lens. It can be challenging to convey your art in your own voice. I have mainly used mediums such as paint, ink, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop to help bring my images to life since 2016, and I hope to improve further with these mediums.
