I am passionate about creating and sharing stories with as many people as I can. In my time at ECU I have built up a diverse set of skills such as script writing, storyboarding, directing, editing, acting, and illustration. I have a keen eye for detail in all of my work, and strive to ensure that it is the best that I can make it.

Artist Statement

Description: My thesis film “Iggy the Ciggy” is about a college student who is struggling to quit smoking. It was based on one of my friends that struggled to quit smoking. While writing it I talked to him to try to best understand the internal struggle that he went through, and tried to personify those struggles as the films antagonist Iggy.

Unfortunately because of covid-19 I was not able to completely fulfill my original vision for the film, because I was unable to do reshoots on scenes that needed them, and couldn’t film an extra scene that it needed to improve the pacing.
