Pedder Bay Construct 2 is part of an ongoing series started in 2019 at an artist residency in British Columbia. All of the etchings in this series evolve from a process of subtracting dried block printing ink from the Solarplate to reveal the light sensitive plate beneath. I used plastic objects recycled from the the bay as drawing tools and straight edges to create geometric compositions which are punctuated by color applied as a monoprint after the etching is printed.
