I enjoy creating one of a kind utilitarian pottery that transcends the strictly functional. I want my work to weave itself into our daily lives thru its use and decoration. I find great joy in creating pots that are used in everyday life, helping to enrich the day-to- day experience. A relationship is created the first time a pot is touched and the love and familiarity grows each time it is used. Most of my influences are from the process of making work with a strong influence from nature. My hope is that it enriches the daily lives of others and provides a direct connection to the maker.
