During the covid lockdown, I decided to use that time to create a lesson plan to teach my elementary art students a new activity in clay. Whilst making the waterlilies, I discovered they would not be able to form them, but I was having so much fun making them, I continued to create waterlilies in different ways and colors. Creating the waterlilies helped me in a time I needed to do something I could control, when I was powerless over what was happening in our world.
