Working in mixed media allows me to incorporate elements not traditionally thought of elements in a work of art. But if inspiration is drawn from the elements, I do not want to be restricted in using them.
This is a “pandemic piece”. The use of old and familiar objects and the defined grid shape offered order to an otherwise chaotic time.
