I started out in Wood Design and transitioned to Sculpture for my degree. Moving through two different disciplines during my time at ECU helped me advance what I have desired to create. It has given me a direction with my art. It has led me to find beauty in the basics of the principles of design with an emphasis in color and lines. I still hold true to my first “why” for why I create art which is, “Art for art’s sake.”
